This intrigues me a bit because it seemed like Maya and Cam were going to be kind of a big deal based on the promo. But if the summer episodes are only for four weeks, it would end with episode sixteen. So they are really taking a long time - storytelling-wise - to get to this point. Maybe the first of these six kisses takes place in the summer finale? Perhaps they are going back to giving us some build up to romantic relationships, unlike the mess in Now or Never.

Well, obviously I like Eclare more than Imogeli.
I will say that I did enjoy Need You Now waaaay more than I was expecting. And I don’t hate Imogeli as much as I am supposed to; I mean, I don’t want them to be together, but they at least make sense to me in a way that Cake never really did (especially once they took them from a casual rebound into an actual relationship).
Over the summer, I hated the idea of Imogeli because Imogen was a creepy stalker and Eli was seriously messed up. Given the changes to her character over this season and the fact that Eli is overall doing a lot better, I think the two of them liking each other and having a relationship at least makes sense.
But the reason they didn’t work out (aside from Eli’s “hormones” ::eyeroll::) seemed to be that they dated more because Fiona pushed them together and they’d had feelings (or at least attraction on Eli’s part) for each other in the past. But at the time, Imogen seemed more interested in her friendship (and more) with Fiona and Eli seemed to be shipping himself and exercise more than him and Imogen.
I did think that when they were together they did have some chemistry and their kisses were pretty good (even though I’d prefer they didn’t kiss each other on the show). But I was happy that it didn’t work out and I thought the resolution to the whole storyline was really well done (minus Eli’s therapist).
So in the end, I think I ship Imogeli as a crackship (even though I’m well aware it is a real ship for other people). I don’t want them together on the show but I see why people like it and hey, if someone wrote a really good fanfic, I’d read it.
But I love Eclare. And that’s all that matters.
The Degrassi Drama Club
There is a distinct lack of Imogen Moreno in this Drama Club.
To be fair, there’s no way they’re putting on a full scale Romeo & Juliet with only five people.
I’m hoping it’s just the key players for the storyline because Propmaster Clare!
I don’t think Cristine was there the day they filmed. She could still be involved - though probably not in a large role.

I always thought she looked super cute in pictures… She’s not one of the n00bs is she??
She’s been shadowing the directors.
When I first saw she was on set, my initial reactions was that Degrassi must have gotten rid of their casting department, and just started asking the cast, “We’ve got this part. Anybody got a friend?”
But fortunately, she confirmed she’s observing behind the scenes much like Shannon did last season when we all thought Zane was reappearing.

I actually do like that one, even though it’s not the kind of fic I typically go for.
I don’t want to like the show Girls
because the characters are extremely unlikeable.
And I hate when women sleep with men who treat them like shit.
But occasionally the show has lines of dialogue that are so specific and funny and just perfection.

Well I’ve certainly heard of it.
I have not read it.
I’m not a Twilight fan or a kinky sex fic fan or (to be frank) a bad writing fan.
I’ll admit it does inspire me to go back to some of my fics and see if I could turn them into something less Eclare specific.
